How to avoid buying counterfeit products
Be cautious of scams when shopping online. Most sales on Amazon are made by third-party sellers. Here are some helpful tips to avoid falling victim to fraudulent sellers. Remember, if an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is!

Who is selling and shipping?
Check who the seller is under the "add to cart" button. Look for "ships and sold from Amazon" or "ships from Amazon" with the product brand as the seller.
If it's a third-party seller, click on the name to check them out. Avoid companies with only a handful of reviews. (And, of course, run from those with a bad rating.

Check the quality of the photos and text
Blurred photos and misspelled words are red flags for dealing with an illegitimate seller.
